Spiderman does whatever a spider can. That is how the lyrics go for the iconic Marvel character Spiderman. In Spiderman the slot game there is not a real reference point of what a spider can do but from the looks of it he can make you a very wealthy person. This exciting and interesting slot game has been created by the people at Cryptologic along with the licensing rights from Marvel to make one of the best themed games currently on the market.

Even though I have not really looked through that many Spiderman comics I am fairly up to date with what the man in blue and red can do on the cinema screen. In this slot we see a background which consists of New York - the home of the amazing Spiderman himself. It is joined by a bunch of spider webs, and a nice big area for the reels. Right at the top of the reels we find the Amazing Spiderman logo in bright yellow. The reels have some sort of brick frame around them to make it look like a building and this theme runs all the way down to the control bar at the bottom. It has been really nicely integrated with the rest of the game and it is very easy to navigate. On the left hand side of the screen we find the different jackpot counters for the slot as it has a lot to offer other than the normal winnings.

However, Cryptologic have decided to use the standard slot symbols ranging from 9 to A in this game and just put different colours on them. As a young photographer - Peter Parker has his own camera and the newspaper he works for as two symbols. They are joined by the beautiful, red headed, Mary-Jane - love interest of both Peter Parker and Spiderman. The Black Spiderman is the main villain for this slot game and he makes an appearance - paying up to 5,000 times the line bet if you get five on a winning line. The Spiderweb feature activates when Spiderman himself shows up on reels 2-4. This is like an expanding wild feature where he substitutes all symbols on the reels except scatters. The scatter symbol is the Spiderman logo which also triggers the Spiderman feature game.

When the bonus game is activated you get two options: you can decide to grab 15 free spins or you can choose the Venom feature. This leads you to a chase of Venom through the streets in order to save Mary-Jane. You can choose different paths to chase Venom as well as fight other criminals on the way.
